The Bainbridge Island Metro Parks and Recreation District (BIMPRD) has approved, and is a partner in, the renovation of the Transmitter Building at Battle Point Park adjacent to the Kids Up! Playground. The initial purpose of this renovation is to alleviate the current overcrowding of BIMPRD gymnastics programs and to create additional indoor recreational space.

Thanks to the BIMPRD maintenance crew, some local business contractors, and individuals that have donated their professional time, this renovation is underway.

To make this renovation become a reality, we still need financial contributions.
